HeliOS

The HeliOS project attempts to bridge the digital divide by providing PCs and Internet access to families in need. They make use of and advocate for FLOSS, with the donated PCs running Linux.

The project lead and a major contributor have been affected by a major health concern. The project lead's blog has the details. Since this is the major concern for the project at this time, the FLOSS Fund donations will be going to the fund to help cover the medical expenses.
