Actually, having ballot counting machines, even with paper backup, 
requires me to trust not my machine.

I want us to have higher standards.

I want to count all votes myself. And since I am not special, everyone 
should be able to count. Physical paper can never accommodate this 
higher transparency standard.

The side effect is that this is a greater engagement of voters in a 
convenient form.
