<p>Actually, having ballot counting machines, even with paper
backup, requires me to trust not my machine.<br>

<p>I want us to have higher standards.</p>
<p>I want to count all votes myself. And since I am not special,
everyone should be able to count. Physical paper can never
accommodate this higher transparency standard.</p>
<p>The side effect is that this is a greater engagement of voters in
a convenient form.<br>
