[kwlug-disc] OT: Global TV over the air change

Some of you may be using over the air antennas, hence the question.

Global TV in KW has two sources, one off the CN Tower (41.1), and the
other is from the Paris tower (6.1) which used to be stronger. The other
channel on the Paris tower is TVO on 19.1.

About a week or two back, 6.1 went away, and reappeared as 17.1.
TV Fool says that 17 is from the same Paris tower.

So apart from the channel number change, there should not be anything
different, assuming they are transmitting at the same wattage.

But that is not the case: I can't tune 17.1 at all.

Anyone seeing this? Any explanations? If the wattage is lower than
before, what would the reason for that be?
