[kwlug-disc] Linux Association Canada membership

My opinion is I don't mind if they want to link to kwlug.org on their page
to help promote awareness of Linux meetups in Canada.
If it's a full membership, organization, and more to support, I'd want to
see more information before making a decision. For example:
- I see postings for hiring here, but there's no link that works when you
click "Apply Now".
- If it's a fully registered non-profit, I'd want to see the registration
information. Who owns it, who makes decisions?
- What is the code of conduct? Any other rules or considerations before
joining?
Personally, I'd rather see Linux community events like KWLUG showcased
through an officially recognized non-profit like The Linux Foundation.
I do see some chapters here, so maybe we could get our events listed
centrally:
https://community.linuxfoundation.org/chapters/
The Code of Conduct for events is very clear, and I don't believe it would
be an issue:
https://events.linuxfoundation.org/about/code-of-conduct/
Cheers,
Jason
