[kwlug-disc] Wi-fi questions

If you're gonna run CAT5/6 then consider Ubiquiti AP's or TP-Link Omada.

I use two Ubuquiti AP's, one in the basement and one on the second floor.
They're PoE, so you only need to run one cable and not worry about power.
You will need to run their 'cloud key' appliance, or run the software on a
Linux/Windows system (or container) to access/modify their settings.  This
makes roaming between the AP's pretty much seamless.

TP-Link Omada is another one that's similar to Ubiquiti, but I've not used
it yet.
