[kwlug-disc] ssh takes 5 minutes to connect

The first thing I would do is add the verbose flag to scp. I know ssh
allows -v to be specified multiple times in order to increase the verbosity
each time (-vv, -vvv), and I'm fairly sure that scp supports that too.

If you have access to the server sshd configuration you can set "LogLevel
DEBUG" (or DEBUG2, DEBUG3) in /etc/ssh/sshd_config
