[kwlug-disc] Ubuntu 12.04 LTS localhost* and internet fail - where to ...

Vanilla apache doesn't work out of the box except for a 'it works' page.

I'm assuming 'tail -f' on /etc/syslog, messages, or other log files 
reveal nothing useful? e.g. /var/log/apache2/*.log
