The fact that they have the information and are cross correlating it is 
enough of an abuse in many (including mine) minds.

Nevertheless, yes, I've seen some reports of both facebook and google 
crossing the line on this stuff. Again, not that they have to - the very 
fact that people are concerned about this -and can be made to be more 
concerned about it - is enough to create a justification for an 
alternate service IMO.
