Hi Bob,

Last time we talked I said something that may have been interpreted the wrong way. So I hope this email clarifies it.

I am very flattered by your comments on my remote collaboration presentation.

Regarding doing it at the OGLF, The goal is to make it broader than the KWLUG and have speakers from different projects and groups. Personally I would love to do it but I've already committed as a volunteer.

When I said "get a venue and I'll do it" I meant "yes, I want to do it, thank you. do you know anyone that may be interested? I cannot do it at OGLF" but I think that it came up the wrong way. As I don't know how you interpreted, I apologize if you understood it differently than what I meant.

Putting modesty aside: Is it that you want to hear the presentation or is it that you think it was so good that a wider audience would benefit?

If it is the first, I can certainly do a private presentation.

If it is the second, I am thinking about submitting it to a different conference where I am not volunteering.

Again, I'm sorry I was a bit confused that night and I wasn't as clear as I should have been.
