[kwlug-disc] kwlug on twitter?

If the KWLUG site produced Atom/RSS feeds they could be set up to feed 
Twitter directly, without human interference.

I'd like to see a KWLUG Atom/RSS feed simply so that I can see the new 
meeting announcements in my news reader...

Also, if http://twitter.com/kwlug is to be acquired, then I recommend 
that http://identi.ca/kwlug be acquired also. 



It looks like there is already a KWLUG page on Facebook: 
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2372274435  Is it just me, or is 
the script something like Sinhalese?  Either way, the page is badly 
out-of-date, with the only entry being the Beryl/Compiz demo in November 
2007.

What about all those other social networking sites?  Plaxo, Bebo, 
Frappr, MySpace...

I recommend to people that even if they don't intend to use these 
services, they should acquire their name and establish an identity 
anyway.  Better to have your own ID than to have someone else acquire 
it, and possibly use it for identity fraud purposes.  If you've already 
established your own ID it's more difficult for someone else to spoof 
you.  Witness "Fake Steve Jobs" on Twitter, and Australian censorship 
minister Stephen Conroy on stephenconroy.com.au
