[kwlug-disc] listening to the airport

This is going to be a very deep rabbit hole..  Thanks to everyone who
offered advice so far.

Ultimately, what I would consider the ultimate setup would be:

being able to hear the tower<>pilots chatter,
being able to pipe said chatter through the truck's stereo system for
better audio quality,
being able to watch the flights on a radar screen, either on a laptop or,
even better, my tablet,
so ultimately we could hear the pilots on the truck's audio, then point at
a dot on the tablet and say "he's on THAT plane over there to the left"

I have a feeling that I won't be able to whip this up in an afternoon...
but you guys have answered some primary questions.  So thanks!
