[kwlug-disc] Local linux friendly PC vendors

My basic strategy is to

10 go on Amazon or CC's website,
20 find the component I want,
30 check the reviews,
40 go to the manufacturer's website,
50 go to the Support section, and see what drivers they offer.
60 If no drivers offered, GOTO 10.
70 buy!

Of course, some components are handled by the kernel or the distro without
any need for installing drivers...

Yes, I made a Basic joke.  It's Friday and it's been a long week...  I'm in
a mood!
