I have been using it for many years on an Acer Iconia A500 tablet. This is
very
old by today's standards, made 9 or 10 years ago, based on Tegra chipset.
There was a community around it with two guys (somewhere in Eastern Europe)
who ported OmniROM to it, as well as Ubuntu. It worked great. But all
recent Android
apps include support for a new instruction set for Tegra based devices
(neo), and
therefore newer versions of apps will not work. The solution is to use
older versions
that work, and disable auto updating. Of course, it is also slower than
newer devices.
But I have not found a good replacement yet that can run these custom ROMs.
