[kwlug-disc] Presentation requests: package formats, repository best practices

I must be doing something wrong, then.  Last time I did an Ubuntu install,
I tried to remove snap, but I ended up breaking the whole OS install.  I
finally had to just wipe and load (which wasn't too bad as it was a fresh
install anyway).  So now I'm too scared to remove snap.
