[kwlug-disc] Perhaps the best desktop/developer Linux distro

I've never had the patience to watch those videos.
I just experimented with it in a VM for a few hours before deciding that it
was the best thing since systemd (um, I mean sliced bread).
However, I did exactly that - my Mac Pro tube (late 2013) with 128GB DDR3
now runs Pop!_OS natively instead of macOS, and it's one heck of an awesome
upgrade in my opinion.
Running Linux natively is more appropriate for my development needs (which
require a lot of containers and VMs), but the main reason I switched was
the desktop experience, actually.
The performance of my setup with Pop!_OS has also increased tremendously,
which also means the hardware will be useful to me for much longer as well!
