[kwlug-disc] OT: SSD disks?

I have the Kingston drive in my notebook and it's served me well, but I'm
not sure I would rely on it. At home I use my desktop for most tasks and
only use the notebook for light surfing and research. Am I correct in
assuming you're going to use it for development? If so, regardless of which
SSD you choose you'll definitely want a non-SSD backup. AFAIK you cannot
recover data from SSDs with testdisk/foremost.
