No issues here. I'm not using a Pi, however. I'm running via docker on 
x86_84. It's not the fastest (older hardware), but pretty reasonable.

Have you set up cron for background jobs? Otherwise it will only run 
background tasks (like fetching calendar updates) after (some) page 
loads.

Only issue I've had was this year, in September. Postgres bumped from 17 
to 18, and it wasn't directly compatible (probably a path issue for the 
database files). I pinned postgres it back to 17, and will worry about 
fixing this some time before November 2029.

Something like this older mini-pc for $99 is going to blow away a 
Raspberry Pi in performance and capability. Plus you could use 
virtualization, or docker, or anything else you prefer to separate your 
workloads.
