[kwlug-disc] Troubleshooting sound on BBB

I figured out that my earbuds may have been the cause of the excessive
quietness and the sudden loud noises. We are not sure, though.

The squeaking is still a mystery. John had some other programs
running. It seems that shutting down one that was also capable of
using his microphone helped reduce the popping noises on his end, but
it did not stop the squeaking.

John has good wired internet, and turning off video did not make any
difference.
