[kwlug-disc] Troubleshooting sound on BBB

Maybe try a test with a live Mint session on a USB stick to see if the
problem still persists?

It could be that one of the latest/greatest updates messed something up and
running a live usb stick will at least point out if it software or
hardware...maybe?
