As I am running SSDs and 8G/16G RAM in these laptops, I set Swappiness = 1.
My mem commit rarely goes beyond 5G of RAM, but just to be 100% careful, I
do have a 4G swap space in place as a just-in-case.
And yeah, so many times we have made Dual-Xeon-based workstations so much
quieter by re-pasting and even rip/replace stock HS with 6-pipe heatpipe
ones from various mfgs, makes a huge difference.
