[kwlug-disc] Fuming out about virus, security in depth

Ars Technica has some technical analysis for the effectiveness of various types of masks, including home made.

This article doesn't discuss the kind of clear plastic face shield that Canadian Shield in Kitchener is manufacturing for health workers (design is approved by Health Canada).

My wife sewed some masks, and we are using them to go out.
