People on this list might be interested in "Pureboot", a secured boot 
process from Purism, a vendor of Linux laptops:

My understanding from their post is their system is a variant of 
Coreboot+Heads which provides tamper detection (via TPM) and two-factor 
(physical token + pin) to decrypt your hard disk, which can then boot 
the linux distro of your choice.

At the moment, this is a limited project (beta, requires their laptops + 
security key), but is interesting anyway.
