You might want to ask Alex Volkov on the GTALUG mailing list about his
setup. He has been recording GTALUG meetings for the past year and know
what works and what doesn't. He is doing everything in Linux and Open
Source with stuff bought off monoprice.

@Steve Izma he's also using a mixer.
