[kwlug-disc] Application UI different on XFCE than on KDE

Is anyone here versed in desktop environments user interface stuff?

Basically, there is a KDE application that has scroll bars when a
certain screen is taller than the laptop resolution, but when the same
application is on XFCE, there are no scroll bars, and the result is
that the buttons at the bottom are below the bottom screen edge.

Here are screenshots. The developers say it works on KDE, so it is an
XFCE issue.
