[kwlug-disc] Router dying?

Just to throw in my 2¢: I've become so fed up with unreliable consumer
routers, regardless of running original firmware, ddwrt, openwrt, etc.,
that I ended up just buying a low-power pc with dual-nics, installing
ipfire, and calling it a day. I still have a consumer router, but it
functions as a WAP only, with whatever OEM firmware it shipped with.
