[kwlug-disc] Problems with Ubuntu 14.04 sound

Before checking other things ...

Open a terminal, and type alsamixer, then press F5
Check all the levels of all items.
Then do the same when the sound changes and see if things are different.

Yes, it says ALSA, but it works with PulseAudio.
