Interesting stuff, Charles.  I may need you to teach this noob a few things
about it!

I think where I run into trouble is that while I use the Synology for the
torrents, it doesn't have Kodi.  I run separate instances of Kodi on my
clients; they read from the Synology folder but there's no real
server-level control.  I'm thinking of building a separate Linux box out of
an old Windows Home Server box (an Acer H341 headless) and loading a Kodi
server type of thing there.
