Maybe everyone knows this, but just in case: it is my impression that
the Debian decision was about which init system to support by default.
The others will still be available, but may suffer from some lack of
support in some corner cases.

I plan to stick to sysvinit in Debian for a while, if possible.
I expect it to be possible for a while, even while systemd processes
are also running.
