Setting up a KWLUG XMPP server sounds like a great idea!

What with the demise of Google Chat it's getting more difficult to
have one-to-one conversations using only FLOSSy tools.  If we already
have the resources then a Jabber server would provide a convenient
service to KWLUG members that's not dependent on those large pervasive
non-free organizations.  And with OTR it would be secure too.

I can see someone setting this up and making a presentation out of it...
