[kwlug-disc] konqueror default view recently schmucked, how to fix (set default not working)?

Yesterday (I think it was), konqueror started defaulting to file replace 
view on every directory.

No re-setting of filemanagement or default view appears to fix it.

Renaming ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror didn't do it either.

Did some (buggy) update come down, or what dumb thing have I 
unintentionally done?
