[kwlug-disc] Internet services

Ah, the tricky rural scenario -- it can be an irritating, tricky bit, no question.

I would have thought that Netflash would only have standard DSL, but they may have been getting into wireless or other delivery means over the years -- I wouldn't necessarily know.

Packetworks has a long history of commercial wireless services in Rural areas, so if you are not in the wireless foot print of one provider, there is still the chance you might be in the foot print of Packetworks -- obviously, the only way to know is to give them your ICBM address (er, location) and see what they say. Whether the price is workable is, of course, another bridge to cross.

I hope you are successful in finding your friends a good solution!

	All the Best,

	-Cedric

I never did much business with them, since I had things generally covered by my Packetworks stuff, but over the years I have had some clients there, and they did good work in my books.
