Thanks for the mention - looks interesting. A 'modern day' dropbox?

 From the web page https://pogoplug.com/#, it looks like these local 
devices provide additional storage. e.g. To the 5GB available on the 
cloud for free.

Am I reading the site correctly - pogoplug thus provides a way for 
external users to access your internal pogoplug storage device, via 
referencing pogoplug. [The user need only know about pogoplug, pogoplug 
takes care of figuring out whether it's actually in the cloud or on the 
device, and fetching it wherever it resides.]

So, the local device is not sync'ed to the cloud? I can't write files 
directly to my local pogoplug device (speed) and have it auto-sync up to 
the cloud?

      It's additional storage, not replicated storage, so if it falls 
over / gets stolen / whatever, it's gone - no recovery from a cloud 
sync'ed store?
