I've been having issues with my voip phones lately, really poor quality. 
Choppy, echo, etc.

First step I'm replacing my hardware.  I got asterisknow running on my 
AMD Turion 64 laptop (384megs of ram).  Is a box like that suitable for 
running asterisk?  I'm sure it's probably fine processor-wise, but will 
a laptop run 24.7 like that?  It's an older laptop, the battery's dead 
so I have to keep it plugged in.
