[kwlug-disc] topic request

Break it out like LAMP / Apache tuning / MySQL has been?

If there are differences between building the kernel on Debian vs.
CentOS, given the original message, and by merely deleting a .o makes
demoing viable, then there is some value to that.

Same thing, given past list discussions about maintaining (using
repos) with apt-get (or your favourite, aptitude, synaptic, kpackagit,
adept-manager) and rpm. There is value to discussing and contrasting.
Especially as I suspect we all need to be aware of these two major
flavours, to at least some extent.

And there is value to what you say, wherein package manipulation (?)
segues into package creation. Be it on either flavour.

But I do think these are 3 separate things, especially as early brain
saturation will probably be an issue.

I don't disagree that these are large and viable topics. And that
there is value in discussing and contrasting the flavours. But my
guess is that combining the last two topics, even for a single OS,
isn't viable.

But what do I know, I'm no expert. I don't think I even qualify for
higher than a beginner.
