My son BlackBerry's MicroSD gave him an error and the BB asked "do you want me to repair it", he said yes, but still dead.
I've been trying it to recover the data he had there (pictures and videos) but it cannot be mounted. The /var/log/messages syslog and kern.log

dd does not even see /dev/sdc
photorec recognizes /dev/sdc but assigns a weird geometry.
Is there another way to recover data from this microSD or is it physically busted?
