I'm using duplicity; it's a python + gnupg + your choice of backend backup 
designed primarily to back up to remote sites (rsync, ssh, S9, DAV, gmail, you 
name it).

I am VERY happy with it. I back up to a local directory and then rsync that to 
a few different places.
