[kwlug-disc] What's the best desktop distribution?

The fact that the current solutions do not cover all cases or all applications do not diminish their comparative value. 

This branching thread started with the "killer application" statement.

I don't consider updating software a "killer application" as regular users do not care if their software is up to date as long as it does not break.
