They don't make FLOSS but they do (I believe) use Linux boxes in their
server farms. However, getting tickets can be brutal ... log on at
8:55am and then wait 5-10 minutes before the reserve even responds
(at least going by the last ticket I snagged).

> This presentation takes you behind the scenes at Pixar
> Animation Studios for a look at how 3D computer graphics
> films are made.
> The process starts with the development of the story and
> continues with modelling the geometry, animating the
> characters, simulating all the details - like water,
> cloth and hair - defining the look of the surfaces,
> putting lights in the scene, and rendering the images.
> Making a computer animated film requires close
> collaboration between artists and technical experts and
> is a great example of the value of bringing different
> disciplines together in a team environment.
> PLEASE NOTE: We have experienced a surge of interest in our free
> public lectures. Due to the volume of people accessing the
> ticketing website as soon as tickets are released, you may receive
> server related error messages when ordering your tickets. Please be
> patient and refresh your webpage and continue trying to order
> online. The online ticketing system remains the fairest and most
> convenient way for you to order ticket(s) for our free public
> lectures. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work
> towards resolving our server problem.
