Do you like storage? Lori Paniak likes storage. Recently he and his
henchpeople have been working on a project to provide hundreds of
terrabytes of redundant storage spread across multiple locations. They
use the Ceph filesystem to deliver an implementation of NextCloud at
the University of Waterloo that students can use as a DropBox
replacement. He will tell us about his adventures in designing and
implementing this system.

Oh man I don't even know what other event to plug this month.
Night/Shift, maybe? That is not FLOSSy but it is fun, and there are
lots of makery things to play with: http://nightshiftwr.ca/

Okay. Here is the meeting location:

St John's Kitchen
97 Victoria St North
(at Weber)
Kitchener

The meeting starts at 7pm. Setup starts at 6:30pm. See
https://kwlug.org/sjk for maps and photos of the venue.
You should come because it will be fun and Lori is a good speaker.
