Many thanks to all for the very valuable feedback.
I will keep the existing Sammy 850 in place, but I will also travel with a
bit-for-bit clone on one of my spare 1TB SSDs as a just-in-case cause I
would hate being caught far from home without a spare image in hand:-)
Lord, talk about 1st-world concerns...
