[kwlug-disc] Linux RDP clients

I'm breaking in a new Windows 11 laptop for work. Previously I was using a
WIndows 10 box but as you know they are now verboten.
With the old WIn10 box, it was easy to RDP from my Debian desktop to
the Win10 laptop and work from my Debian system. This gives me several
advantages, mostly multiple monitors and bigger keyboard instead of working
on a laptop with my chubby fingers.
When I try to RDP to the Win11 box, using Remmina, I get all sorts of
certificate errors. I found that changing the authentication to TLS solves
that, but the login on the Win11 box refuses to believe my name/password.
I can still RDP to the Win10 box, then RDP from Win10 to Win11 so I know
that a) the RDP host on Win11 recognises me and b) well, RDP works on Win11.
So the question is why won't the Win11 box recognise my creds when I come
straight from Debian to Win11, but is fine when I go Debian > Win10 > Win11
?
I strongly suspect that Reminna is the culprit, as it's given me grief in
other ways, but I haven't been able to find a good RDP app for Debian that
can do the trick.
Any suggestions?
