[kwlug-disc] HDMI adapters/screen flickering on projector

When presenting in person, we have noticed that sometimes the
projector video feed cuts in and out. The display will go off and then
go on again. Sam (who is presenting on Monday) has been a victim of
this. I know other people have as well, but I cannot remember who. Do
others remember?

To try and troubleshoot this problem it would be nice to try some
(good quality?) USB C to HDMI adapters with the projector. Does
anybody have some they could loan to us? Either you could come by
early to the meeting on Monday (say 6:30pm-ish) or I could pick up the
adapter from you sometime this week. 

I am sure there are cheap HDMI adapters and good quality HDMI adapters
but I do not know how we tell the difference between them. Capitalism
suggests "price" will determine quality but I don't know whether
capitalism is true. Does anybody know?
