Well that sucks. Github apparently took down a Canadian because she has an Iranian last name? I wonder what the internal chain of events was.

Normally when Github received a request from a governmental agency to take down content, they post it here:
   https://github.com/github/gov-takedowns

These are their DMCA takedowns:
   https://github.com/github/dmca

However, this action seems to have gone through a different channel. The above repos show that github attempts to be transparent about the reasons for their actions, but it seems not in this case.
