[kwlug-disc] Presentation requests: Syslog

I'd love to see a presentation about syslog.

I've just opened RFC5424, "The Syslog Protocol", linked from Docker's 
docs. It turns out that syslog the whole world. There are Relays, 
Collectors of logs. I guess, there should be tools that process/show 
logs on Collectors' side.

Is the following impression correct?

  - For events with details, one-offs, we syslog.

  - For metrics, that are streams of numbers from sensors we netdata (as 
a verb from netdata).


Syslog, anyone?
