Probably not.

There are lots of sites now forcing users to enable ads, otherwise they
will make their experience miserable by these layers and such.

I either ignore the site, or if it is really important I fire up another
browser that I keep for these situations (Chromium happens to be it) check
the page, and then shut that browser.
