[kwlug-disc] dstat (replacement for vmstat)

This came up during yesterday's Drupal Users Group meeting.

Basically, there is a tool called dstat which is an improved version of
vmstat, with more functionality and reports.

It is in Debian/Ubuntu's repositories.

The way I use it is to remember catch phrase: T Clippy Drummin ...

>From that you use it with the options -tclpydrmn, like so:

dstat -tclpydrmn 3 30

That will monitor a machine and output nice statistics.

Very useful. The important part is remembering the options via the catch
phrase.
