By the sounds of it, they're releasing the server stack, not Silverlight or
XAML or anything.

What's nice about that is it'll mean a lot of people with .NET web
applications may well decide to move to Linux.  Because Windows hosting is
expensive.

Provided they can detangle SQL Server from it anyway.
