GPL normally covers code only. Even non code elements in a GPL product
are not covered by the GPL, e.g. images, CSS, ...etc.

The GPL FAQ discourages using the GPL for non-code components.

For data, there is no impact on whether the code is GPL or not. It is not
viral
to the data it processes.
