I hope to purchase a new laptop soon. It has 2 memory slots, one of which comes with 2GB. What do I need to know / do to match the 2GB to ensure double data rate / maximize memory speed? I have kubuntu on a USB stick, so will be able to fire it up and poke however needed to identify whatever can be. Yes, SDRAM 2GB 800MHz, but wait states, etc.?
